About Sparks & Steam

Sparks & Steam offers unique products that are steampunk-esque, cute, nerdy or just plain badass. These include original artwork, art prints, stickers, bookmarks, magnets, hats and more created and designed by artist Devin Wineinger.

Our Story

Sparks & Steam was founded by Devin Wineinger in April 2019. Wineinger created the business to be a platform to sell her artwork, handmade goods, and future novels. Sparks & Steam is located inside Amused Gallery in the beautiful NOTO Arts and Entertainment District located in Topeka, KS. Sparks & Steam also sells items on Etsy and sets up art booths at comic cons and art fairs.

About Devin Wineinger

Wineinger is an artist, writer and cosplayer. She graduated from Washburn University in 2018 with a BA in Art and a minor in English. Her artwork has been exhibited in multiple art galleries and art fairs as well as the Mulvane Art Museum. Wineinger’s work has been published dozens of times in the Washburn Review and in the book Stories of Hope: A Book of Interviews from Around the World (2020).Wineinger spends her time running two businesses and working on many artistic projects. These include writing and illustrating her first science fiction novel, creating her cut paper (drawing with paper) series, and drawing her steampunk Mannequin series just to name a few. She also enjoys working on art commissions. Wineinger currently lives with her husband, Blake and their cats, Steve and Raven.
