About the Art:
“Love Booming” is the fifth drawing in my color pencil Mannequin series that delves into a variety of emotions and emotional topics. The idea behind this particular piece was to demonstrate the emotion that happens when someone is starting to fall in love. What was once a desert landscape is now growing with new life as the person discovers what is it like to love and be loved for the first time. On a personal note, I actually created this piece while dating my first boyfriend (who is now my husband).
